Toshiba GT-840S 4Track Stereo Tape Recorder
Offered is a Toshiba GT-840S 4-track stereo Tape Recorder.
The unit was briefly tested for function, but unfortunately does not work fully.
Machine turns on normally, but all mechanical functions, such as playback and fast forward and rewind do not function.
Both speakers crackle significantly, so the amplifier seems to be OK.
This device is already decades old. Probably therefore the drive belts have perished, but I have not checked that.
Due to described problems, I am selling this unit explicitly as is" as a restoration item or for parts.
