Sony TC-645 Tape Recorder
Offered is a Sony TC-645 Tape Recorder.
This machine has been briefly tested for function, and is functioning mechanically for the most part.
The machine turns on and fast rewind and forward rewind function perfectly.
Playback also works, only at speed 19cm/s. the machine runs much too slow.
The VU lights are on and the counter works.
The recording quality is surprisingly good.
The buttons sometimes creak slightly when operated.
Furthermore, the drive sometimes mechanically blocks, so that playback and fast rewind no longer work. The solution is to lower the right tape tension arm. In this way, the drive is released again.

Because of the described problems with this device, the sale follows preferably "as is" as restoration object for tinkerers and enthusiasts!
