Silver Philips D6910 Portable Cassettedeck
Offered is a Silver Philips D6910 Portable Cassettedeck.
The unit was briefly tested for function, but unfortunately only works partially.
Fast forward and rewind work fine, but playback unfortunately does not. A strong mechanical side noise is audible on the inside, but that's all. Also the tape counter does not work.
VU lights okay.
The deck has not played for years. A logical consequence is that probably the drive belts have perished, but I have not checked that.
Also, this model is notorious for having weak gears. New ones are available for sale on Ebay.
Due to described problems, I am selling this unit explicitly as is as a restoration item or for parts.
