Revere T-1105 Tube Tape Recorder
Offered is a Revere T-1105 Tube Tape Recorder.
The unit was briefly tested for function with a variac.
Although the type plate says this is a 105-120 Volt machine, the unit did not function at 120 Volts.
So with my variac I slowly turned up the voltage in small steps to 220 Volts, after which the device functioned mechanically.
So I assume that the machine is technically adapted to European voltage.
Playback functions, only the sound is dull.
Fast rewind works without problems, fast forward does not.
Due to described problems, I am selling this unit explicitly as is" as a restoration item or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
