RCA SRT-301 Tube Tape Recorder – 110 VOLT
Offered is a RCA SRT-301 Tube Tape Recorder. Note: 110 volt device!
The device was briefly tested for function with a variac, but unfortunately only works partially.
Playback works mechanically, but the music can only be heard softly in the background. In the foreground, a strong beep can be heard.
Possibly a dirty contact? When operating the potentiometers, the beep can be heard more or less loudly.
Fast forward works perfectly, rewind is not working.
Due to described problems, I am selling this unit explicitly as is as a restoration item or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
