Offered is a Lafayette RK-155 Stereo Tape Recorder.
The device was briefly tested for function, but only partially works. Fast rewind is okay, fast forward very slow.
Playback runs a few seconds and then stops. Also I hear no sound.
However, the switches creak loudly when operating the potentiometers. So the amplifier seems in order.
Tape counter OK.
Due to described problems, this unit is sold explicitly "as is" as a restoration item or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
