The device played here on the test bank for a good half hour and sounded good.
Fast forward and rewind did not work at first, but started to function later. The device has been stationary for a very long time, so will have been mechanically a bit stiff.
Despite the good test result, this is an old device. A long, trouble-free operation can unfortunately not be guaranteed. Therefore, this item is preferably offered as defective.
