Akai X-1800SD Tape Recorder (black front) with 8Track player
Offered is a Akai X-1800SD Tape Recorder (black front) with build-in 8Track Player.
This machine has been briefly tested for function, and is mechanically 100% functional.
The machine turns on and fast rewind and forward rewind function both.
Playback as well. Both the 8track player and the tape recorder play. The sound is pretty good, just the occasional slight crackle or dull sound. A little cleaning will do the unit good.
Light is on and counter also works.
Recording not checked.

Because of the described problems and untested recording functionality, to avoid disappointment, this tape recorder is preferably sold "as is" as a restoration object for tinkerers and enthusiasts!
Many photos document well the optical condition.
Delivery as shown on the pictures, without further accessories!
The dust cover was left here in our warehouse. This seems to fit reasonably well, just missing the hinges. This is included for free.
