Walter Type 101 Tube Tape Recorder
Offered is a Walter Type 101 Tube Tape Recorder.
The unit was briefly tested for function. The tape recorder turns on normally.
The first thing to notice is that the tube lights up somewhat softly. Mechanically fast forward and rewind work fine, except for a soft mechanical ring at rewind. As if something is touching.
Playback functions, but moderately. The sound is a bit too soft and also not quite stable.
Because of described problem and because of the age this device preferably is sold as is" as restoration object or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
Supplied complete as shown in the photos, with original reels, power cable and microphone!
