Teac A-3340S 4Channel Quadrophonical Tape Recorder
Offered is a 4 channel Teac A-3340S Tape Recorder.
The unit was briefly tested here for function and mechanically works for 90%.
The machine turns on normally and fast forward as well as rewind work fine. Both at an all-around acceptable speed.
Playback sounds fine. The sound is still quite pleasant. However, the buttons creak when operated, which can sometimes lead to a dropping channel for a short time.
For this reason, the recording is not tested.
The tape counter does not function.
All lights are in operation.
Also, the pinch roller comes up difficult, caused by solid grease. This is a known problem with these models.

Due to described problems and age, this object is therefore preferably offered "as is" as a restoration object!
This to avoid disappointment.
