Tandberg 10XD – 4Track Stereo Tape Recorder
Offered is a 4 track Tandberg 10-XD Tape Recorder.
This machine has been tested fairly thoroughly. From this test a demo video is available which can be played below.
The device turns on normally. All the lights are on and mechanically the tape recorder is 90% fine.
Fast forward and rewind function perfectly. Only when the tape has been rinsed off, the right spool dish suddenly starts spinning again. This can be seen clearly on the demo video.
Playback sounds very nice.
Recording does not function well. Also, the VU-meter result needs some revision. Sometimes the left VU-meter does not move.
Tape counter works.
Due to the described defects, the sale follows prudence therefore preferably "as is" as restoration object!
Many photos document well the optical condition.
Both Adapters are included in the delivery. The pictured reels NOT, these are purely for decoration.
