Spectone Type 161 Tape Recorder
Offered is a Spectone Type 161 Tube Tape Recorder.
The unit was briefly tested for function, but unfortunately works only partially.
The device turns on normally, and playback works, but the right reel does not turn, which automatically leads to tape salad. The sound is good, by the way.
Fast forward and rewind do not function.
Tape counter OK.
This device is already decades old and has not run for a long time. Major general maintenance is therefore absolutely necessary.
Sale follows therefore explicitly as is as a restoration item or for parts.
