Seravox Tube Tape Recorder
Offered is a Seravox Tube Tape Recorder.
The unit was briefly tested for function with a variac, but unfortunately it functioned only partially.
It was not possible to find out if it was a 110 Volt or 220 Volt machine, so the current was increased in small steps to a maximum of 160 Volts when testing.
The tube lighted up, and mechanically playback came on somewhat, only with the left reel holder. The right one did not rotate.
More tests were therefore not possible.
Mechanically, the unit was also very noisy.
Therefore, it is sold expressly "as is" as a restoration item or for spare parts.
