Revox A-700 2-track Tape Recorder
Offered is a Revox A-700 2 track Tape Recorder.
The unit has been briefly and partially tested for function.
Fast rewind and fast forward both worked normally. Also playback and a short recording functioned quite well, although a difference is audible in input and output.
Tape counter functions and lights are on.Buttons sometimes creak audibly when operated.
A small demo video of this device is available which clearly shows the operation.
Despite its good condition, this device is decades old, and in unrefurbished condition.
To prevent disappointment, this device is therefore preferably sold as is" as restoration object or for parts.
NOTE: Both reels pictured and NAB-adapters are NOT included in the sale, but are purely for decoration purposes!
Many photos document well the optical condition.
The sound heads have quite some wear, but are also not completely worn out yet.
It is possible to relap them to get the most optimal results again.
