Philips N-5846 Cassette Deck with digital Tape Counter
Offered is a neat Philips N-5846 silver Cassette Deck.
This device was very generally checked months back by our service engineer and then actually stood idle again for a little too long.
In the repair, the infamous gears have already been renewed. Also the dolby PCB has been repaired and 2 ICs for the motor control have been replaced.
On a short global test the device functioned fine.
Fast forward and rewind functioned perfectly.
The tape counter worked.
Playback also worked. The sound was nice. Even recording gave a reasonable result, although not 100% exact the source.
All lights were on.
Only crackle the switches when operating, but that's all.
Despite this nice test result, this is already a device on age. A long and trouble-free functioning is therefore not guaranteed.
Sale follows therefore preferably as is" as restoration object or for parts.
