Philips EL-3540 Rare Tube Tape Recorder
Offered is a Philips EL-3540 Tube Tape Recorder, rare museum piece!
The unit was briefly tested for function, but unfortunately does not work. The device turns on normally and the tube lights up, but that is all.
All mechanical functions, such as playback and fast forward and rewind do not function.
The tape recorder has not played for years. A logical consequence is that probably the drive belts have perished, but that's not checked.
Due to described problems, this unit will be explicitly sold as is" as a restoration item or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
Also included in the sale are the very special Philips reels, as well as the original boxes.
