Philips EL-3511 Tube Tape Recorder – Color RED
Offered is a Philips EL-3511 Tube Tape Recorder in red case.
The unit was briefly tested for function, but unfortunately does not work. The device turns on normally and the tube lights up, but that is all.
All mechanical functions, such as playback and fast forward and rewind do not function.
Also, the machine smells very slightly (kind of ironing smell).
The tape recorder has not played for years. A logical consequence is that probably the drive belts have perished, but that's not checked.
Due to described problems, this unit will be explicitly sold as is as a restoration item or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
Both pictured original Philips reels are included in the delivery.
