Philips 070/170/270/370 Stereo-Set
Offered is a Philips 070 Switching Unit, Philips 170 Tuner, Philips 270 Preamplifier and Philips 370 Power Amplifier Stereo Set.
Devices are tested fairly extensively for function.
The Switch Unit, preamplifier and tuner all function fully. At the power amplifier, both channels are working fine.
The lamp of the left VU-meter is broken. Furthermore one channel often drops out due to strongly oxidized potentiometers.
There is a demo video available of the full operation which can be viewed below. The transmitter reception of the radio is better with a good antenna. In the demo video only a small wire is used.
Despite the good technical condition, these devices are decades old. A long, trouble-free operation can therefore not be guaranteed. Devices have not been refurbished.
To avoid disappointment, the set is preferably sold as is" as a restoration item.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
