Nakamichi 700 Tri-Tracer 3head Cassette Deck
Offered is a Nakamichi 700 Tri-Tracer 3head Cassette Deck.
The unit has been briefly tested for function. All mechanical functions, like playback, fast forward and rewind function normally.
Tape counter also works and the VU meters respond. Also the lights are on.
Three shortcomings deserve some attention:
- The recording works, but is a lot softer than the source.
- The right VU meter sometimes stays behind, while the channel works. This could be a contact problem. There is another Tri-Tracer 700 II for sale with exactly the same problem.
- The potentiometers creak slightly when operated.
Because of the described problems this device is sold as is" as restoration object or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
