Marlux Model-731D Tape Recorder
Offered is a Marlux Model-731D Tape recorder.
The unit was briefly tested for function, but unfortunately only works partially.
Playback, while working, is mechanically very noisy. Furthermore, the right band holder frequently stops. Fast forward and rewind also function, but start slowly.
Also sometimes a channel drops out, probably caused by bad contacts.
The tape counter does not work.
Due to described problems, I am selling this unit explicitly as is as a restoration item or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
Note that only 1 VU meter and one reel clamp are still present.
