Loewe Opta Optacord 409 Tube Tape Recorder
Offered is a Loewe Opta Optacord 409 Portable Tape Recorder.
The unit was briefly tested for function, but unfortunately does not work.
Fast forward and rewind do not work at all. On playback, only the left reel rotates, creating band salad.
Music did come out of the speaker, so the amplifier part seems fine.
This device is already decades old. Probably therefore the drive belts have perished, but I have not checked that.
Due to described problems, this unit is sold explicitly as is" as a restoration item or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
Maximum reel size 11 cm.
