Fostex X-15 series II Multitracker Cassettedeck / Mixing Table
Offered is a Fostex X-15 series II Multitracker Cassettedeck / Mixing Table combination.
The device was briefly tested for function, but unfortunately does not function fully mechanically.
The unit turns on normally, and fast forward and rewind function perfectly, as does the tape counter.
Unfortunately, the most important part, playback, does not work. The right reel does not spin properly.
A small demonstration video was made of the operation which can be played below.
This deck is decades old and has not played for a long time. It probably needs some lubrication or a new belt.
Due to described problems, I am selling this unit explicitly as is as a restoration item or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
Supplied as shown, so quite complete with original adapter and user manual.
