Ferrograph Logic 7 4Track Stereo 26cm. Tape Recorder
Offered is a rare 4 track Ferrograph Logic 7 Tape Recorder.
This machine has been tested fairly thoroughly. From this test a demo video is available which can be played below.
The device turns on normally. All the lights are on and mechanically the tape recorder is 95% fine.
Fast rewind functions perfectly. Forward only when the control button is held. By releasing the button the machine rewinds immediately.
In our shop there is a 2-track variant for sale that does exactly the same the other way around. It will possibly be a switch, but that is not looked at or searched.
The sound at playback was pleasant to hear.
The counter is defective. The button is broken (is present).
The brake for rewinding needs some readjustment!
When recording unfortunately only the left channel functioned, also on source. The right channel does not react. In addition, tape was a bit softer than source.
Because of described problems, the tape recorder is therefore preferably sold as is" as restoration object.
EXTRA NOTE: By an attentive customer, we were made aware of the potentiometer on the right where the flush speed and flush direction can be set. If desired, we are happy to test the machine again.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
