Akai HX-26W Double Cassettedeck
Offered is a Akai HX-26W double Cassette Deck.
The unit was briefly tested for function.
On the left player (A), both fast forward and rewind work fine. Playback also functions, only the sound sounds dull.
On the Right player (B) fast forward works reasonably, and rewind only very slowly. Playback works, also sounds a bit dull.
Counter works and all VU LEDs intact. Recording not tested.
Because the device has not been used for years, probably the heads need to be cleaned and some mechanical maintenance is needed.
Due to described problems, I am selling this unit explicitly as is" as a restoration item or for parts.
Many pictures document well the optical condition.
