Akai 4000DS MK-II Tape Recorder
Offered is a Akai 4000DS MK-II Tape Recorder.
The device was briefly tested for function, but mechanically only works partially.
The unit turns on normally, and fast forward and rewind function. However, the machine mechanically makes a lot of noise.
The tape counter also works.
Playback unfortunately does not work. Although the capstan shaft rotates normally, the pinch roller is stuck and will not move manually back and forth.
By described problems and the age of this machine follows the sale explicitly "as is" as restoration object.
Many photos document well the optical condition.
Delivered as shown, only unit without accessories.
